ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract

Dear Friends & Colleagues,

With great pride and honour, the Academy of Pain Physiatrists invites you to the Pink City of India – Jaipur for APPCON 2026, scheduled to be held from 18th to 20th December 2026 at Hotel Royal Orchid, Jaipur.

Centered around the theme "Holistic Pain Management: From Intervention to Functional Independence," the conference aims to promote and encourage academic excellence, innovation, and research in the field of Pain Medicine.

Participants are warmly invited to submit their research work, case studies, and original papers for presentation at APPCON 2026.

Abstract submission will starts from 1st June 2026.
Last date to submit the abstract is 31st October 2026.

General Instructions for Scientific Presentations :

  • Only registered candidates are allowed to submit abstract for scientific presentation.
  • One registered delegate should submit only one abstract in each category of scientific presentation.
  • For poster presentations, a maximum of 3 contributors are allowed, all of whom must be registered for conference.
  • Only those candidates who will be physically present at the conference are eligible to receive the certificate of scientific presentation.
  • Abstract should be submitted electronically by clicking on the tab "Abstract" on the website.
  • Abstracts should be in ENGLISH and not more than 250 words inclusive of title; font Times New Roman, size 12, justified, 1.5 line spacing, the spacing between paragraphs 6pt. The document should be saved in .doc or .docx. The only abstract that conforms to the given guidelines will be accepted.
  • All abbreviations must be defined in first use.
  • Abstracts should preferably have an Objective(s), Method(s), Result(s) & Conclusion(s).
  • Statements such as "results will be discussed" or "data will be presented" will not be accepted.
  • Oral presentation may be converted to poster presentation as per the scientific committee decision and hence, abstract should contain pertinent details.
  • Laptops will be provided for presentations.

Specific Instructions to the Delegates for Scientific Presentations :

  • The presentation should be an original work; any conflict arising regarding plagiarism will be directed to the ethical Committee of the APPCON 2026.
  • The duration of each scientific paper presentation will be 7+1 minutes followed by 2 minutes for discussion. The time limits should be strictly adhered to.
  • Poster Presentation: Only E-poster shall be accepted. Total presentation of poster should be of 120 seconds with
  • Maximum of 3 Slides in auto-transition.
  • Copy of the Scientific Presentation Form containing all required details and the abstract (not exceeding 250 words), duly signed by all authors, and should be sent for acceptance.
  • All submissions by post-graduate students must enclose a declaration form signed by the Head of Department (available on the website).
  • Abstracts should be submitted electronically along with a scanned passport photo of the presenter (JPEG file interchange format or TIFF tag file format) scanned at a resolution setting of at least 300 dpi.
  • The Scientific Committee will assess all papers / posters for acceptance based on criteria of quality, originality, scientific value, relevance to the conference theme, and innovation. Submissions are liable to rejection on the following grounds:
    • If the presenter has not registered for the conference.
    • If received after the last date for submission.
    • Incomplete submissions with pending results.
    • Submission of incomplete scientific presentation form or non-submission of material in electronic format.
  • Papers / posters accepted for the conference will be an exclusive property of APPCON 2026.

  • Methods & Materials: Research design/methodology.

  • Discussion: Significance and implications.
  • Conclusion: Summary based on results.
  • Keywords: 3–5 keywords.

Case Report :

  • Title: Concise, subject-specific, no full stop.
  • Introduction: Brief background to the case.
  • Case Description: Relevant clinical details.
  • Carry Home Message: Key learning point.
  • Conclusion: Summary.
